Yeah, this is one of most stylish builds I've seen. I keep coming back to look at it. And you used just a black leather dye then?
Big sigh beautiful. Ohh and I just noticed the heel. I like to play my own, but would sure like to spend a halr hour with some of yours.
The oak is the last few bits I have from that batch...I bought 1/2 tonne of offcuts ages ago, now all the good stuff is gone. The black stain is leather dye over Baltic birch with gunstock oil finish rubbed out with 0000 wire wool and wax.

Wow. Love this. Is that an iron oxide (steel wool in vinegar) finish on the box?
That's oak with mahogany centre stripe and heel laminations, black walnut fretboard.
Pretty amazing John. What wood have you used for the neck?
