Yep, I know I've made a few out of these boxes, but I like them!3 strings tuned GDG, 630mm scale length, walnut fretboard, bridge and pup bobbin, oak neck. Hand wound pickup with volume and tone control.Sounds and plays really nice. This one is going to be sold in a local music shop.

Nice work as always Rick! I really like those Montecristo box guitars you make, think it must be the splash of colour ;-)
It's funny, after a while you get to know who's submitted a photo without reading the title - I wonder if in years to come people will say "that's a Richey Kaye" ?
Think I need to get back in the workshop again - been too busy at work recently. Fancy making a uke next I reckon. Keep up the good work :-)
I like those boxes too, Richey. Looks like a total winner. That walnut fretboard looks a bit mottled and looks great that way. More interesting. Nice narrow neck to. Keep me out of that music shop.

Thanks 162, appreciated my friend.
Matt - thanks a bunch mate, that's good to hear as I'm not really into marking my work overtly.
Definitely give the uke a try - if you need any pointers just ask!
