Yep, I know I've made a few out of these boxes, but I like them!3 strings tuned GDG, 630mm scale length, walnut fretboard, bridge and pup bobbin, oak neck. Hand wound pickup with volume and tone control.Sounds and plays really nice. This one is going to be sold in a local music shop.

Thanks for those Bob - as always clear and concise instructions! I'll give it a try sometime soon. Might be cool to inlay a bit of acrylic rod to use as an indicator too!
Thanks Bob. You know, I have occasionally thought of making my own. Would you turn them on a lathe or something? On the other hand I really like having all chrome hardware... ;-)

Alternative to turning wooden knobs, excuse the poor quality of the drawing.
You can turn but there are other ways. When I get back to the house later I'll put something together.
I like the shiny metal too but it's good to have options in case of commissions. ;)
