  • Thanks John, Reeds and Kane. To be honest I wasn't too upset - there were a couple of things I wish I'd done differently. And I think this one will make a nice birthday present for my little bro :) Also John, that is one of two bridges I made from walnut and bone, and Antonio has the other.

  • Wow! That looks beautiful

  • Very nice...as John said, what's a little dent....it's a cbg...and a purty one at that.

  • Man, Richie- don't rebuild that.  Who cares about a little dent in the fretboard?   That looks fantastic.   Neat from top to bottom.  But the saddle bridge is the star.

  • Thanks Antonio - yes I used the new neck design, and the action turned out pretty nice. I set the neck a little deeper into the box too.

A bit of a sad tale to go with this build - it was actually for a customer, but my little daughter knocked it over and it got a big dent in the fretboard. Going to rebuild it and give this one to my brother :)

  • very nice build, did you use your new neck plan on this one ? how did the action turn out with that new work up on the neck set. ?
