The 61 Highway is the blues highway. I just did some cosmetic changes to this good old build. It is tuned EBE and has a piezeo.The old Mercury hubcap build needed a change in saddle height and small cosmetic change or two. Sounds growly good with that bass mag pup.

    I like the bass pickups, Jim.   Growly good.   The Merc hubcap had a piezo that was not satisfactory and the pickup was a late add on.

    Nice Unc. I sometimes go back and re do some old ones but usually I leave the mistakes and try not to repeat. Hmmm.. I gotta try a bass p/u sometime.

    Well, I didn't mean to lie, but I did.  I forgot to count 2 shop gits and 1 at a work place.   But, I have thinned the herd quite a bit.  Those 3 would be worth keeping - or giving to the right person.

    I'm not sure what number I'd like to get to for keepers.  My inventory is low, and lots of requests, but I have a few keeper builds in mind.

    Thanks, Gary.  I have been thinning the herd - selling and giving.     I have about  11 on hand within the broad CBG genre.  I may get it down to 7 keepers.  I don't think I can make myself go lower.  These two make the cut.
