  • Hey Vinnie,
Thanks for the compliments. You've made some very nice instruments yourself. Have you made a uke yet? I see you're a RatFink fan. You ever seen the documentary about Ed Roth, "Tales of The Rat Fink"? It's fantastic!
  • Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
  • String gauges depend on the scale...I use 022w, 014 and 010, tuned GDG on a 22 1/2 inch scale. For this sort of instrument you're better buying individual strings, as splitting a regular set rarely gives you the right gauges.
  • Nice clean and crisp looking builds. Please contact me if I can be of any assistance. Enjoy.
  • hi ,,luv the rat think,,did u see the rat rod group

  • 3/8ths is a great starting point. You can always shave a little off if necessary. Good luck and post pics! BTW, I am working on a twin of the Perdomo Lot 23, almost finished. Has a bloodwood verneer headstock and chrone Gotoh tuners. May post pics tonite. Have fun pal...
  • Yep, its dependent on the string height. I make it as low as possible but not so low that you have string buzz when using a slide bar. The height at the nut is about 3 to 5 32nd's and at the bridge its about 3/8ths to 1/4"
