Hey man, When u get to Florida. Get in touch and we'll pick a tune or two. I am always wanting to hook up with other CBG entusiasts. I cant seem to get my friends to jump into the jug side of things. I have only met one member close enought to me to Jam but I havent bugged him enough yett.Maybe this winter.Ill give him a call and get together with someone for a change. i just stay so busy with Church, Being a Husband and parent,And dont forget work. That I forget to add that into the mix. If you come over to visit Ill try to keep the menu inline with your diet as close as I can. I know your probably looking at making some new decisions when it comes to eating these days. And my wife is always looking forward to feeeding me healthy whenever she can.
i will say this , ive been a closet case musician all my life , not alot of folks have heard me , but everyone has said the same thing "what the hell are you doing here)"so my second chance at life is gonna be my new start in music as well , i have alot of music bottled up inside me just waiting too be heard, and ive got myself pretty well convinced that im gonna blow the socks right off of some locals around here (we`ll see what happens)down the road who knows what might happen , there are no folk blues players around here , and i think that going out with a cigarbox , and playing some long awaited seldom heard music will punch this area right where it counts , at least thats what im hoping
thanx rodger , im doing ok for the most part , im getting excited tho i really want to get one of these cbg built , would be nice right now too have one finished (now) , it would be lightweight enough for me too handle , but ? ive packed up my electric guitars , and my 6 string banjo , as they are too heavy for me to handle right at the moment
Steve please take it easy, you will recoup faster than trying to push it. Talking about your pain you got to remember they opened you pretty darn wide to fix you up. ande your body wasn't made to open up like that. My brother almost died from a massive heart attack. He was a truck derive and just pulled into where he was making a delivery step down to the ground and it hit him and he dropped to the ground. If it wasn't for another driver just outside his truck being there to help my brother would have died. So the worst part is over take it easy and enjoy. You have been given a second chance. I also have had three heart attacks but only had to have stents put in.
God Bless
Roger
