Sorry Sherree for the inconvenience. My videos are made public for only a period of time. There are a lot more publically available on my www.youtube.com/kenileeburgess page. Thank you your consideration, Keni Lee
Welcome Sherree to the CBG Nation. This is a very nice site; there are lots of information and people on here who are willing to help the newcomers. I have found I learn something new from every guitar I have built. I have just finished my 3rd one, and working on my 4th and 5th one. It gets in your blood, you are addicted to making yet another one. You are always looking for guitar materials, and always thinking of how the next one will be built. It is great. As you go along building your guitar, take pics, and post them. For sure post your finished guitar on your site. I need to take a pic of my 3rd guitar, and post it on my site. Have fun.
Sorry about the link. If you will copy the whole thing, all the way past the Xw8 and post it in your browser it should open up. There are tons of GREAT folks here on the nation so you'll never be at a loss for support. See Ya!
Hey Sherree! Welcome aboard! It's great that you want to build a cigar box guitar. It's hard to only build one, though. Here is a great resource for ya: https://api.ning.com/files/sUNnALSWpfsZcCUt3qe0uZishi-Kb*tIDzJeVWupD-BcC-4r36pzOXV3oQ33pHJr4DC4ubbX8N4noLDQNOqjG8RJM2KyxXw8/MAKINGACIGARBOXGUITARFinalv1.pdf There are a lot of excellent people and other resources here on the nation so you can find just about anything you need here. A good starting point, imho, is to build a fretless three-string with a piezo pickup and play with a slide. If you already have a factory guitar I'd suggest making the scale length on your build match that of the factory instrument. Oops... I just realized u didn't ask for advice LOL. Sorry. I get excited about these things! If ya need help shoot me a line and I'll try to help. Enjoy the journey!
