Hopefully you will be able to offer a little advice...
I am currently thinking of trying to make a mini guitar which could be played by a young child, which would have 3 strings, diatonic frets and obviously quite a short scale, I'm curren
My latest solid body build. 4 string solid body electric. 630mm scale, oak body (made from laminated shelving), bolt on oak neck, walnut fretboard, 2 hand wound pickups with 3 way switch and V&T (mid position is humbucking), strings through body, Tru
Hi folks, I thought I would share my new build which is my first attempt at a solid body electric.
The body is pine. I looked into buying ash at first but it was just too expensive for a first try. I ended up buying an 18mm thick laminated knotty pin
I noticed recently that Mr. Wayfinder has been absent from these pages. It appears that the account, plus all posts have gone. Seems a bit of a shame as the fellow was always happy to help out, and could clearly call upon his own knowledge (and Goog

I've just finished wiring up my new build, with a single coil pickup, volume and tone pots and jack. I haven't strung it up yet but plugged it into my amp to check It's working. Everything seems fine except both pots crackle when you turn
