Google search more than twenty years ago and more recently: last year!
How many instruments have you built so far?
more than three hundred total and more than ten of them are cigar box instruments. Some I even gave away.

They can be delightfully simple to build but oh, what a sound. I will pick up and play one of my cigar box guitars any day. And something about them suggests they even have their own song, too. Kind of funny how I can compose a blues tune on a cigar box guitar with practically little effort. It's like the blues were meant to be played on the cigar box guitar!
