  • Thank you for your warm Holiday Greetings. Best of Health and Wealth in 2010. Enjoy.
  • I added the pic of the other side of the radial bike... I grew up flying, had a J-3 Cub with a 90 hp engine on the farm/ranch. I haven't flown since my accident, but I have a buddy that wants to get me up again. I don't have a license, but one can still get away with that around here. Are you a mechanic?
  • I don't remember the h.p. on it, but I can find out. It has straight open pipes on the other side! It does one hell of a burn out too! It was built in Black Hawk SD. I'll put a pic up of the other side soon...
  • Hi Dennis, The paper punch dot idea is pretty slick. The really nice thing is that picks come in so many colors and patterns that you are guaranteed to find something to match your project. The fact that a pick costs about $.25 is a nice plus too.
  • hello dennis that work i did on that bookmatched walnut body was done 5 or 6 years ago and it was a project i never found the time to finish. so diamond back wanted to buy it so i figgered if i wasnt gonna finish it i should give someone else the opportunity to finish it. i got a cool mahogany double neck body hollowed out with a 3-piece maple top in the same state of affairs. been busy with this cigar box guitar building fun.
  • Thanks for the invite, Dennis. And, just how many guitars do you have??
  • Cheers for the request.. you are more than welcome!

  • Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
  • Thanks for the nice comments Dennis! You've got some beautiful stuff yourself. Nice to have another friend from the Great State of Texas too!
  • Thanks for your kind words. I am extremely impressed with your work, both CBG and standard guitars. I really like the "SG" style body you did, it is a beautiful assembly. It looks like the wiring is very versatile.

I haven't gotten into pickup winding yet, but I feel it is part of the equation. Any advise on pickup winding?
