Most of my builds have been made using red oak neck and red oak fretboard, mainly because of easy availability. On two recent builds though, I've experimented with Walnut and Cocobolo fretboards. I've noticed the sound on these two build
Finally getting around to my first resonator after getting several requested "regular" builds finished and had a question. Does the sound from a reso benefit more from the vibration on the box and cone? Or can you get the sound you want from a magnet
I am wanting to add resonators to my "collection" and noticed there is currently no resonator group...unless I overlooked it. I would like to pick some of your brains on tips, hints and tricks because I've seen some gorgeous builds from you guys. I r
I've seen several of you have nice, branded logos on your builds, Josh and his Smokehouse immediately come to mind. I was wanting to add a logo on my builds as well. How does one go about getting this? Does someone design and make a brand-type thing
Ok, I have an anniversary coming up and need 3-string help. I learned to play "our song" on a six string way back when I proposed, and thought I would learn to play "our other song" for this anniversary. I have it down but cant seem to find Bm and E7
I've tried a few different ones similar to the ones in the photo, but on many of them I've had the threads strip. I like the styling of the neck when I use them, but I don't trust them very much and am scared to put them on a build that I plan to sel
