I am wanting to add resonators to my "collection" and noticed there is currently no resonator group...unless I overlooked it. I would like to pick some of your brains on tips, hints and tricks because I've seen some gorgeous builds from you guys. I really don't know where to start with my questions, but was wondering what differences I should note in my builds and tips on getting quality, old-style blues sound out of them.

Yes, and in cutting and pasting the code for this link table here, I messed up the original code in my CBN discussion group "Home Made Resonator Boxes 101, v.2.0" and spent most of this morning recreating that code. I think next time I won't fool with it. As time goes on, my group will move from basic box building to more advanced reso-box-guitar building. Just a matter of my finding time to get around to it. My first article relative to reso-box-guitar building is how to cut the hole for the resonator in the sound board using rather primitive tools.
Well, I think I've fixed all the links. Apparently the links are saved with a relative url (..\) and when I paste it here, the url address gets screwed up. Live & learn.
Although, I am not a builder (only built one 3 string CBG), I have played quite a few resonators in my day. I would be glad to be of any assistance. Jim Mitchell is certainly a good source for resonator info. Enjoy your build, Keni Lee

Hmm... Why didn't those links cut and paste right? I'll see if I can fix them.
