    Hey Dr Jones, thanks for the kind words. It's been a busy summer and  I hadn't logged on the site for a while . But I appreciate your message. I checked out  the builds you have made and I know I have a long way to go. The blue maple with the f holes is awesome!

    I dont feel qualified to give tips untill I have as many builds as some of the others.I am starting to HEAR   CBGs   I have not yet decided what type of Magic I can extract out of these  very small Ceder boxes ...The sound I go for might not be your favorite colors.... I believe this is an art ....a careful balance of tone.A pickup doesnt make sound,only hears what is available-.  Piezos hear the box.  Mag/coils hear strings...

    I liked your vid Good job on C.B.G. I dont know what a piezio pickup would sound like in a A/B type comparison , weaker with more external noise, from my experience with lots of acoustic guitars thu the yrs. I dont believe there is anything like a mag/coil pickup for power, crunch and gain. I believe the p.up I heard [vid] compliments your playing. Thanx
