Sell Buy Swap

Thought it might be useful for us to have a place to put our For Sale/Wanted/Swap stuff. It doesn't have to be specifically a cbg but obviously we don't want to swamp it with stuff we could sell at car boot sales. So best keep it to music and and cbg related stuff.

  • Well guys i've decided to let go of my superb little Marshall Stack MG15MSII dont know if anyones intrested but i thought i'd ask on here before i list it on Ebay ! i will be asking £150 - it's absolutly as new i have used it a handfull of times only and it's complete with th origial boxes plastic wrappings even the silica gel lol! plus the handbook hookup leads x 2 and mains power lead - they are out of production now so will be getting collectable for sure would like to keep it but you know times are hard and it's time to let go :-( i would estimate the shipping between £20-£25 for the mainland uk but if anyones intrested it could be picked up or arrange a courier of your own to pick it up no problem either way here's a little rundown on the spec The Micro Stack has a 2-channel (Clean & Overdrive), 15 Watt head which powers two 1x10" speaker cabinets -- one straight and one slanted -- in true classic Marshall form. The MG15MSII amplifier boasts the same features and controls as the MG15CDR combo. The controls include Clean Volume, Overdrive Gain, Overdrive Volume and Reverb level. The amp's 3-way EQ network contains controls for Bass, Contour and Treble. The Contour control allows the user to accurately fine-tune the amp's mid-frequency characteristics. Like all amps in the MG Series, the MG15MSII incorporates Marshall's proprietary FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping) circuitry, which is controlled via an on/off switch on the front panel. FDD mimics the interaction of an all-tube amp's power stage with the loudspeakers it is driving and, in so doing, emulates tube amp feel and sound. In addition, as all MG Series amps, the MG15MSII boasts a CD input, an Emulated Line Out and a Headphone jack that, when used, mutes the speakers, for "silent" practice sessions. Marshall MG Series Amplifiers utilise the latest innovations in solid-state and digital technologies (many developed for the critically acclaimed AVT range of amps), capturing the essence of the Marshall sound at affordable prices. At the heart of the MG Series is an extremely responsive power amp section featuring Marshall's proprietary FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping) circuitry that accurately mimics the interaction of an all-valve amp's power stage with the loudspeaker(s) it is driving. As a result, the MG amps respond and 'feel' more like valve amplifiers than others in this price range. Common features to all MG models are two channels (Clean & Overdrive), CD inputs, Emulated Line Outs and Emulated Headphone jacks. MG amps also feature Contour controls in their EQ networks that allow you to fine-tune those all-important mids - from a fat, 'woody' vintage sound to a modern, aggressive 'scoop' and all points in between

  • Well that took 9 hours and 50 minutes longer than it should have done!!

  • That's a cracking photo of you HB
  • THE HI HAT/TAMBOURINE HAS NOW BEEN SOLD
  • Ok fellow Brits-up for sale is my vintage Premier hi hat stand- tambourine included. Here it is being put through its paces at the 100 club-this photo shows it pretty well, but I have other photos of the hi hat/tambourine set up if you feel the need.Chrome has slight pitting commensurate with age-doesn't effect smooth solid operation. Price a nationtastic £50-a bargain I'm sure you'll agree.Shipping costs might be considerable (its a heavy item) but I'd only charge you what they charge me.Or pick up if you're in Devon.
May be able to drop off if you're in the Warrington area. Thanks for looking as they say..

  • Me too!
