Hey guys
So I had this idea.
Maybe Im not the only one who would like to get up and have a go at playing something while down at Birmingham in October?
Maybe you would too? But maybe you suffer same as me... I dont play too well, and I sure dont want to start singing anywhere but in my shower.
So hows about a few us us pooling are (lack of) talents?
Iv got a few simple tunes in mind that I can master in the coming weeks if someone can sing? Or Il happily jam along with someone. Hell, Il be happy doing the stomp box or tambourine!
If your serious, we could have a virtual jam beforehand.
I cant think of a better place to get up and have a go, so hows about it?

As regards styles...do what YOU want to do...last thursday at our blues club jam night we had reggae, free-form verse, jazz and rap...and the session included a cellist (plus some blues thrown in for good measure)!!! It's not unknown for people to do pop, folk and country, even at what is ostensibly a blues session....it's just a title to hang things on.
The cigar box festival will not be constrained by style or ability, so we'll be hoping to hear some pretty extraordinary stuff...help make it happen!!!
Sounds good but i'm SHY........................................
What I want to know is are we going to blindly follow our american mates ( I love blues ) or start our own tradition......... just look at the breadth of acustict music these isles have to draw on.

Id be good for any style, or if we could get a simple 12 bar blues going, then fine. Im easy.
Any of you boys sing?
