Hi guys
Anyone got an old bass lying around gathering dust that they would like to turn in to cold hard cash??
Iv kinda agreed to do some stand in bass at a gig later in the year, despite not playing bass. Or owning one.
Ideally Id like something old (satellite, kay, hondo, etc) or something that at least looks vintage... the band is my dads old 60s outfit, so I want to be in keeping see.
Doesnt matter if its working or not, jus send me a pic and a price! :o)
Cheers fellas... your the best!

So... I havnt bought one yet. I decided that instead of spending £100 on a real cheapy, it was prolly worth spending a little more on a good 2nd hand one. Unfortunately, they make almost the same used as they do new.... lol So, plan B: Gonna make this into a shortscale 'not quite' VB
it has a truss rod cover (third photo)...not the same thing as an actual truss-rod i guess though.

Ha! I clocked that too Fergus. I very nearly clicked the buy it now, but the 'very high action' worries me a little.... as I recall they dont have truss rods, so I guess its gone banana.
