Read more…I think I got the reso thing just about figured out, well on paper anyways. But I would like to ask:
Does the lid/top touch the resonator or does it just go around it really close without touching it.
Now that I asked this I can sleep easy.
Has anyone ever used a stiff card cigar box for a 3 string guitar. If so was there any sound deadening from the box. I plan to use a through neck so I don't think I got an issue with strength and I'm to use a piezo pickup. Thanks Daz

Read more…Just curious how many of the builders on here are gigging musicians, and of those, who is gigging full time with their CBGs. I do a fair amount of gigging, but playing in a variety band limits the amount of songs that I play on my CBG.
