Lighter fluid. (Zippo). thats my cleaner.I use it for sticker removal wheather it feels it needs it or not.Its a bigger problem to find out later. But I dont remove the smoking stickers. So I havent tested it on that adhesive.
Hi I get them of by steaming over the kettle take the worst of then steam some more and use a clean cloth to get the blue gunk of tril and error but it works for me and its freeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Well if you live in Canada these labels are very big very ugly and very sticky I seem to get 2 out of 3 off the front of the boxes, it seems if the paper underneath is quite glossy it comes of if a little matt it comes off with by ripping the paper underneath. My 6 yo daughter looked at the labels and asked if playing the CBG was dangerous to her health. Hardy worth saying but I do not think these labels make any one quit smoking, I am a Respiratory Therapist, if that lends any credence to this rant.
Cheers Ron.
Sticky residue can be removed from wood or furniture with an oil-based product such as furniture polish, cooking oil, mineral oil or baby oil. Apply the oil to a clean cloth and saturate the sticker. Allow the oil to sit on the sticker so it can penetrate through the glue for a few minutes and then simply wipe it away. Like bubble gum, sticker residue can be removed by freezing the item. Just place it in the freezer, leave for a few hours and peel it away. The sticky goo should come away with the sticker.
like jim said, goo gone, or if you cant get that then lighter fluid on a paper towen, VERY light, it will basically rub it out but if its a painted box then you run the chance of either of those takin paint off too. personally we just leave em on, adds character if you ask me, proof that its an ACTUAL cigar box, not a build one
