    Yeah...  High string is G. Middle string is D.  Low string is F.  This is the "magic jazz" tuning.  Basically, the guitar is tuned to seventh chords.

    I saw an article about alternative tunings once.  The tuning on the low string makes me nervous tuning to a G so I thought I'd try GDF.  (I am not sure if that is the correct notation.  Maybe it's FDG..)
