  • Thanks, Sam.  I just looked. No videos from you since 2010.  We were still children back then.

  • Uncle John... hard rock country... nice job!!

  • Good memory and story, Ron.  Thanks!

  • I vote for this version. I always prefer a homemade guitar over a factory built one. I have been to many concerts and shows but the most memorable music I ever heard was a night about 45 years in Richmond, Kentucky. I tagged along with some of my friends who were going to play with a friend of a friend. When we got there, the guy had hocked his guitar to
pay bills. All he had was a little plastic kids' guitar with fishing line strings. He tuned it up and out played everybody there. Someone loaned him a guitar and he let loose on it. Best picking I ever saw. Don't remember his name but I will never forget his playing style.
  • Well, some votes for the four string.  That pleases me.  Especially the mojo part.  Thanks, Pick, Doug and Kale.

  • I'm not really sure which one I liked better. The CBG is a bit twangier which I think sound really good with your voice. However, I like the roundness of 6'er. It's a tie.

  • I liked this version better Uncle John! The Martin may sound better to the purist (I have a Martin OM), but your 4-string has more mojo and works well with your style of playing. A very rootsy vibe. Well done!

  • yup.

  • Thanks, Derek!

  • Another great version, Unc. The 6 wins head to head on this tune. The 4 doesn't sound bad by any means, and I am partial to 4's.
