I wrote this in 1993It's the oldest one of my songs I have posted here and this is how you spell "tragedy". We lost one of my Aunt's last year and a Uncle earlier this year. The Rock world has recently lost 2 of the best of all time in Chris And Chester. Last week Rocky the RTZ shop foreman made his last trip to the vet.In December of 2012 2 days after the Sandy Hook school shooting I posted the first and last sections of this song with a static picture of a candle.I was ask by Dan if they could use it on the Christmas record. It was called (Silent Christmas)

  • Thanks Derek, the cycle goes on .

  • Beautiful RTZ. Wonderful way to commemorate loved ones lost and going forward with them in our soul.

  • Thanks Dave, this is the high version sounds better with 6 string.

  • Good song RTZ. Heart felt. You have a great voice for it.
  • Thanks Mr. Morris. Loss is not fun to write about but a necessity at times. I have played and sung this song under my voice a 100 times. Still works for me and if it work for others you know what that means to a songwriter.

  • Thank Andries, it's rare I stand and play a whole song.

  • Thanks Nancy, heavy hearts write heavy songs. then sing them when needed.306638310?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

  • This does what a great song should do - touches folks who hear it so they can feel the emotion and relate it to their own lives and by doing so feel a sense of kinship with the singer/songwriter. Excellent!!

  • Great Play RTZ Heartfelt!Sorry for your loss Man !
