Thanks John and Philip. I'm extremely pleased with its sound, not using a through body neck worked even better than i hoped. the issue i have is the piece of wood i used to bolt my neck on (what i'm calling the tang. i'm nothing close to a wood worker, so theres probably a proper name for it.). i didn't make the the hole tight enough for the joint, so my neck angle wasn't what i want. shims didn't correct it, and an attempt to wedge it into place cracked the wood. i was thinking originally this would be my fail point, turns out i was right! hah. not the end of the world, i just have to re-do another body, everything else i make it great!
thats the "Tang" ^^^^^^^
inside view of the "Tang's" Joint.
the up side of all this is, i now know the problem, and have a plan on how to fix it!
Does not sound like a failure. Enjoyed the vid, Stains. Like your singing, man.
I may have had some bad tan joints too. But it don't really know what a tang joint is. I've rebuilt a lot of mine to. I have one maybe a year old that I want a higher saddle.

Nice song Mr Stains, and some useful lessons for the rest of us.
Too many good parts to burn clock, but i'll mount the old body on a pike, as a warning to the others!

Thanks B, i figured a quick tune would be far more constructive than smashing it in a rage. hah

Hey, end it with a bang!
Good policy, if it all goes wrong pour all that frustration into a song!! Nice one : -)
