  • Fine looking creations. I love my ukes including my bari uke. There are opportunities for all of their voices. :) Put a capo on your bari at the 5th fret and there's your soprano/concert/tenor tuning.

  • Shane does an incredible job building guitars that  sound great! Bah humbug tuning! It was a joy watching you have fun Sammy!

  • Nice instruments I used that tuning often and the other one also sounds good Man

  • thanks all, I never thought I'd ever get that 'kid in a sweet shop' feeling again, but I have.
Loving the 'no rules' suits me down to the ground. Cheers folks appreciate your lovely comments.

  • Great new gits Sammy. And great to see a new vid from you! Dealing with new tunings can be frustrating at first but it's fantastic mental exercise which we all need. 'Specially when we reach a certain age!

  • Well now you done it!! whit two like that you got your pastry cooking! fine sound on that  Rezzo!

  • Great stuff Sammy .

Loads of info from Uncle . That will have you pulling your hair out . lol . Meet up soon fella .

  • Loved it! You do play great like Uncle said. Keep it coming.

  • Hey, Sammy.  Wrong, you play uke great!   Those string relationships are all the same from the baby ukes to the big ukes.  AND a GDGB.  I love that tuning.  Good singing.

Sammy, try the finger chords for the key of G. There is a nice 2 finger C chord fretting the small at the first fret and the 3rd at the second fret.   And a nice D7 fretting the small at the first and the 2nd at the second fret.   And a one finger Em fretting the third string at the 2nd fret.  That Em is also your boogie note.   And all across the third is a nice blues chord.

    Have fun!
