Sounds very good acoustically and of course it comes to life with a little power and distortion. Nice looking build Danny. I have learned all kinds of things that don't work (that's how I find out), it's part of the joy of building CBGs the way we do. You are in good company!
Sounds great! The first box I had on my big box six string failed. I beefed up the stacked heel/dowel, then cross braced the top of my box. Floating bridge with the tailpiece attached to the end of the dowel. So far, so good.
Does not look bad at all, sins you want to play it electric ,why dont you fill op the Box up whit solid wood! anyway and cover it whit the cardboard cigarbox !! many do ! even whit 6 strings !! there are plenty on the nation to advice you how to go about ,i meen the most work is done anyway !! keep spirits up Danny ! looking good !!

I like it, Danny. But if you still want it to be sixer, I would bet you can do it. Strengthen of solid insides on the box.
Live and learn I always say. A 6'er has a lot more tension than most people realize.
Big and beautiful CBG. Nice colors and F holes. Whoo hoo! Sounds good.
