Testing out a Tascam DP-004 four track pocketstudio using cigar box guitar, National resonator and stomp box. Very impressed with this little unit which is about the size of a paperback novel but has some powerful features. Easy to operate.

  • Excellent ! I love that nice sounding delta......°<{:-) [---]==={

  • Nice! That's a nice laid back groove you've got running there. One of those general purpose things that you can take an audience anywhere with depending on the lyrics and the mood you want to create. I just kept sitting there waiting for something to break out and start wailing away. Can you do a version with a searing lead line of some sort? It's just begging for that to happen around the 0:38 mark. Kinda like a snarly bobcat stretching and then waking up. I keep hearing the bass come in at 0:30 and then this growly explosion on the the 4th chord the third time through the sequence at 0:38...

    But again, that groove can be taken almost anywhere - so take what I'm saying with a shot of whiskey and a wink. Cheers! :D
  • Oh I do like that. Very nice laid back feel.

  • Great sound from the Tascam and the resonator! (-:

  • Thanks, guys!

  • Smooth and chilling.    G.

  • Wow, Jeff.  That is high quality good stuff.  Album quality.  The photo caught my eye because a buddy is restoring a 54 Olds and it looks similar to this Buick.
