  • Thanks James. Thanks Uncle, wish you were here too. Your voice would be great for it. I’d love playing with you Anytime friend.Wish I had tabs for you Rodger. It’s in G with a G C G D C G chord progression. I’m playing on the second and Fourth frets, sliding to the fourth. Then the C chord and back to the G. Then the turnaround up to 7th fret in D, down to C and back to G. Hope that helps. Just view the vid again and notice i’m Fingering the bass 2 and 4 frets and sliding up to the Fourth. Thanks Bruce. Big box and big sound. Thanks Danny.

  • Anyone got tabs for this awesome rendition?

    Great work Dave!!!

  • Back for anther listen.  You really nailed it.  I've heard some great versions of this song with lyrics.  I tried it and could not make it come out very good.  Super playing, Dave.  I wish I was there with a lyrics sheet to try doing it with you playing.

  • Great job, Dave. You really get a full sound from that box.
  • great job

  • Thanks guys. Sorry Uncle John. I just found the melody by accident the other day. Now I have to go get the words. My band mate Tom knows two verses so i’ll Get it. We played it tonight in Knife River right on Superior’s shore in Odin’s woodshop. I like it’s driving strut. Fun to get rolling. My guitar is good in the song circle. I can play a driving bass on that thing.
