  • Neat-O!

  • looking forward to seeing your tenor banjo....21'', would that be 'baritone length?'...can't wait to see it. Some really nice acoustic sound coming from your build, well done, great job.

  • That really rings nice. Great projection.

  • That's great Will. I'm glad those vids helped! A heat gun from good ol' Harbor Frieght is my weapon of choice too. I use it to take stuff apart too since the heat softens up the glue.

  • Thanks Uncle John.  Jim your PETE1 videos with round bowls and Cigar Boxes inspired me to to make this one.  I experimented with al kinds of heat sources with no luck, so I finally went to HF and bought a heat gun and it worked great on low.  This uke has replaced my Cat Bowl resonator as my favorite.

  • Very cool Will. I've made several banjos and ukes using PETE1 bottles and cake containers and they do work great! The first one I made with a cigar box I heated it and shrunk the plastic a bit too much and collapsed the box sides! You did a fantastic job.

  • Excellent description and a nice instrument.  Man, it rings out!
