I went to test out my wrist having had a steroid injection three weeks before for De Quervain's tenosynovitis (inflammation of the tendons that run between the wrist and the thumb) I decided to limit myself to fifteen songs, but take my time so it wouldn’t feel like such a short busk.I was a bit nervous after such a long break and very rusty. I ran through each song in my head before playing it, and also stopped to chat as long as people wanted, so it took me just over 2 hrs to get through the songs. It was great to be out there playing music in the sun again, but my wrist didn’t hold up well at all. Very frustrating!!I was also testing out my Zoom Q2N outside for the first time. I think it’s much better out there with brighter light. I’m also pleased with the sound. I had the camera on a selfie stick which was clamped to the handle of my busking trolley, so that it was out in front of the amp. I like how much it got in with the wide angle. The only problem was that the display screen is very small, so what with that and the bright light on it, and me not having any glasses with me, it was very difficult to see much. I could just about see the mike stand was in it, but afterwards realised I could have had it pointing lower so that it would have captured more of the people walking by. Next time I’ll take my glasses!I’m playing a three string Cigar Box Guitar and a Canjo, made from a can of Tesco’s chopped tomatoes, both of which I made myself. The loop pedal is an Electroharmonix 22500.
