  The RVN tours are tempting for me, but expensive. On my bucket list, but not near the top. Maybe when I get old :-))

  I've only been foolin' with dulcimers, strumsticks and the like for a few years. I started guitar at age 22. Played in bands for a few years. Built a nice recording studio in my cabin about 10 years ago and since then I'm just a one man band, playing whatever instruments I need to play for the song I've written. I wander all over genre-wise. Native American, blues, country, folk, etc. If ya wanna hear some, here is a link to the music page on my website. I'm retired now and it's my main hobby along with woodworking and gardening.

  Chu Lai eh? Only about 120 or so air miles SE from where I was..same year even. Small world brother, small world. Ever think about going back? They have tours...

  hey Jack...Really glad my video spoke to you. It was a very special project for me. I'm a Vietnam Vet also. Seabees, Phu Bai, 1970. Remember it like it was yesterday. An experience that changed my life. Stay well, brother.

  I plan on keeping  doing both building and writing especially now that we are out of craft show season and I don't have to help my wife with her craft shows. Thanks Jack!

  Yes, have sold a few. Could definitely sell more if I had more time to build. But I like playing and writing so try to balance it out.

  Thank you Jack. That would be cool. I remember you had a lot of nice looking builds at the festival. Always fun to talk about guitars and music.
