I was curious about these ukulele kits from MGB Guitars, so I purchased one (it was not sent for evaluation purposes) and built it. I used a small wooden cigar box as the body. It came out really well though I may have to do some saddle adjustments to get it to intonate properly.

You can purchase one of these kits here: https://mgbguitars.com/collections/ukulele-guitar-parts/products/mgb-sopranissimo-ukulele-kit

  • Yeah. They're making some pretty nice kits. Thanks for watching BrianQ.

  • Kool video, you seemed to be enjoying yourself! I built one of their concert uke kits some years back, I was impressed with the quality of the neck/fretboard material. Another fun one :)

  • I did. However, I wanted to use just what was in the kit for this vid. You notice I didn't glue the bottom in place so I can add it later.

  • Great piece of kit Kale. Did you consider adding a piezo? I just know I would have!

  • Sit tight. That may just happen.

  • Fun build Kale! Looks and sounds great. Is it ready for a Sunday song?
