Thanks Derek. A couple of slurs, a couple of glitches, a couple of buzzed notes...LOL. I tried recording this thing over a couple of days time. Kept messing things up. I get nervous once I turn that camera on...stage fright...my hands start sweating...concentration blanks out. I just have to tell myself, "Ignore the camera. It's not there." LOL.
Turtle, thanks for the kind words. I truly always enjoy watching your videos on YouTube (Georgia On My Mind and Brain Damage come to mind, and I love your sound...so clean and pure). You are one of my bookmarked players over there. You are an inspiration for me, as I love your sound and the songs you churn out. I wish I could do covers, but I just do not have the talent for them and find them extremely difficult to figure out...maybe one day...wish I had a teacher though. Anyway, I have to stick with original stuff for now, as that is all I'm capable of at this point, and it seems to be working out...somewhat, LOL...although I'm a bit sloppy and unrefined. I can sing too, but I'm not sure I can sing and play at the same time...and honestly, live with my 87 year-old Dad, and don't want to scare him, LOL. Thanks again, bud.
LOL, it was very difficult to get Lennon/McCartney, Page/Plant, and Jagger/Richards to open for us, but somehow we managed.....hehehehehe. I'm a graphic artist as well. I drew that poster when I was around 19 years-old. Colorized it years later in Photoshop. Yes, long hair...those were the (hazy) days...I somewhat remember...sort of, LOL.
Loved old Grand Funk Railroad as well...The Red Album was their best! Love that old skool hard rock!
Wow Snuffy, just checked out the Justin Sane video! A fine rock drummer you are! Reminds me a little of Grand Funk Railroad. Nice gig you guys played. Having The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the boys from England ( yeah, they're all from England) the Beatles open for you guys was a nice move, guaranteed sellout! Ahhhh, the days of long flowing hair! I will be looking forward to Summers End! Drumming on the strings sounding interesting! Stay strong, eat your spinach and Wheaties.
Ah. I am so glad you received this great gift too and I understand on the hand problem thing. You are using good body and guitar posture which helps.
Yup, I know a bit about Snuffy Smith and his buddy, Barney Google.
Yup, your pops is right! I watch the Peanuts holiday shows. That Charlie Brown is one of my favorite actors. So much good facial expression and just an 'it' factor.

Thank you, Gary!
I'll also jump on the Rookie-of-the-year train! Well done, Snuffy!
Thanks, Jim. Coming from you, that means alot.
; )
Sounds great Smitty. Yup, my vote for rookie of the year too!
