This fiddle has 2 string tuned at a fifth interval. much of the tone comes from the crescent shaped bridge (a slice of steel pipe) that buzzes when the string are tuned at a fifth and ocillates at an increasing rate the further they move apart. At an octave interval there is no buzzing or ocillations.
