@ 407bug I use wood spade bits for the holes. Hand held drilling seems to be better so you can control the speed. I did one the other day with a drill press and it did not turn out too well. I have no plans on going electric on this one.
And thanks Sammy Lloyd, a friend just gave me 25 boxes that are small so I'm going to be making many ukuleles soon.
Lovin it Dwayne, love to see some more of your tunes and as I'm really getting into cigar box ukulele's I'd love to see any hints/tips/discoveries in your builds. Nice one mate, well done.

Yup,that is gonna sound amazing!......try using a 0.047 Paper in Oil cap too in the circuit....ky42 or ky40-09
