  • I should say blues-orgin music... our Black blues via the South came via the sick, filthy slave trade... and these instruments we now build came via those people doing what they could with what they had. -Glenn

  • Thx much A.D. and Poorness! Unk, Doug and all. For me the challenge is growing as a player, also builder using whatever I have (free or cheap) for it. Kologo's have taken me deeper into a blues-based African music. Got a 3rd one (2 string) I'll finish and post a vid for today... very fun, thx all! -Glenn

  • its got the african vibe Glenn ,Yup that heatgun sure tightens it up ! You pulled a other fast one! Glenn the readymade Man from Chicago!  No one is alike ! Good fun ! we will see it coming !!

  • Thx Doug, fun to do, glad you like it. Yeah well coloring outside the lines r me... ha!! I'm just rather creative and when I get an idea I can run with w/o much (or no) money to build I go for it. I'm pretty patient as my life is full in various family and ministry but as I'm able I'll git 'er done too -such as they may be... not works of art as such!! -Glenn

  • You are seriously coloring outside the lines Glenn! I love it. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thx, Poorness, not great playing but fun to make and do. I have a Percolator amp sitting not 3 feet from my keyboard in my office here... sweet little amp for sure. Great guys indeed. Glad you liked the clip. Now to practice on 'er! -Glenn

  • Thanks Uncle John. Yeah, fun to do. I think next I'll do that yoghurt lid I talked about... will find a wooden bowl and go for it as well. -Glenn

  • That was truly awesome Glenn. BTW, i was killing some time on the Zeppelin Design Labs site the other day and found all those Percolator Demos you did. Great stuff. I like those guys. I met a couple at Knobcon 2017 in Chicago. Anyway... small world.

  • That was interesting.  It's fun using plastic like you did and a heat gun.  You put me to considering doing another (my second) that way.   Autumn here in Iowa, so far, has been like an extension of summer.   But cool weather is coming.  God bless, brother.
