  • Clare,

The Tutorial has gone commercial.... send me your email and I'll give you a complimentary copy.....

The dots are EASY... take a simple hand held paper punch to thin guitar picks of your choice... perfect 1/4 inch dots. Then use a fostner or bradpint bit to drill flat bottomed holes. Glue with CA and you have custom position markers on your CBG...

    the best,

    Wichita Sam
  • Hi Sam, what is the password for the tutorial? I like the way you did the dots.
  • Al,

Thanks. It is an unusual (for me) 25 1/2" scale lenght. Unusual for me, in that I prefer a shorter 24" for getting around the fretboard with ease, but, since I was building to an already constructed neck, built originally for a different box, this box seemed to what that extra 1 1 /2" to leave the graphic unmolested.

    It's tuned open G (G-D-g-b) using the 5-4-3-2 strings from a set of 11's.

This one will probably sell and I'll rebuild it in 24" scale for personal use. I really like it's sound.

    the best,

    Wichita Sam
