  • I'm just makin' noise and having fun. But mostly planning, building, selling and shipping guitars all over the world.

  • Not as far south as Chauvin or Montegut or Dulac.  It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from there.

     

    So, you really can play the Delta blues in Vidalia.

  • As far as north and south goes it sits about in the middle, but right on the Mississippi river. Right across the river from Natchez, Ms if you ever heard of that. We lived in houma when I was a baby, man thats seriously south!

  • Where's Vidalia?  I"m originally from Houma.

  • Gives a different sound than a reg 3 string, there is a little bit of difference in the guages of the strings. I use the #4,3, and 2 out of a pack of martin medium strings and a #4,3 and 2 out of a martin light pack of strings. I got some video's on here of the double three strings, go give er' a listen.

  • what does the double string give you?  They look like each pair is the same gauge.
