Bow is birch from the tree outside with about 200 horsehair stretched between.Maple body is made of the scrap pieces, leftovers from cigar box quitar projects.Piezo preamp will be located outside of the box because the body and the other components inside takes all the room.Box is a Hoyo de Monterray de José Gener Habana.Measures are based on the traditional instrument called "impilahti" (maiden cove).Next I will paint the body with white and varnish it. Then I will prepare the horsetail strings (a, d, g) and put it together. Also bridge and some support pieces has to be done of course.I don't know how to play this, but I am exited to see if it will produce any right sounds at all.
