Coming together. Plywood top on a dough bowl Oak neck banjo. Dr. Spoon tailpiece ( will mount on the wood tail after shaping the wood to fit the spoon. Maple control plate.

    Tuning in to see your latest project. It's Back to the (tenor)Banjo!  Wood if you could and did! I'm trying to imagine the color of the sound compared to skin.

    Countdown to launch is commencing. Maybe strings tomorrow. No pickup selected yet however. I'd like a slim Bucker but haven't ordered it yet. Might use a Teisco foil. I love how Vinnies Rocket turned out. Can't expect another that nice I suppose.
