  • very neat Dave.,.,!!

  • Thanks Uncle. Thanks Pick. I'll post pics of the show like last year. I'm one creeky old potter. Stoking the kiln once a minute or two is quite a workout. Good for ya!
  • Kigar, I'm with you on that. Guitar fires are my nightmare. I'd never (unless they are clay) fire guitars.
  • Bones, I fire my slides in a gas kiln back at our studio. The wood kiln is too "wild" for the slides. Fly ash in the firing lands on the pots and forms natural ash glaze at 2400 degrees f. It's a little too natural for smooth glass.
  • Thanks Beetle. This beautiful kiln sure can make some fine art.
  • And some of your sweet sweet slides ....
  • LOL when I first read this I had a moment of panic - no build could be so bad as to have to burn it!  (wrong side of the kiln)  Please show us the results after firing.

  • Smoking!  Good wishes for the show and sale.

  • nice setting ..  good luck . ;-)

  • that's a real neat shop!
