You just need about 50 ml Dave but don’t let the brass get the ammonia on it just the fumes .

I used the wire to hang the pup cover over the fluid then put lid on tight till you desired patina is achieved .

yes, interesting. is the jar filled with ammonia? hard to tell. is that an old pickup? wires are so thick. or something over the wires for the immersion?
