This is build # 9, 50's King Edward. Belonged to my friends uncle. old pine I found and I stained it with homemade walnut stain.

    I used the husks and soaked in hot boiling water and it sat for over 7 days. I did read the use with ammonia though. When I make some next year will try that. This pine was already darkened anyway as if it were walked on. I sanded it first then have been putting the stain on it as I go along. Eventually I will get frets on it, but that will be in a few weeks.
