I like em' to play well. This one is so cool and historic that for me, it would not need to play well. Just wonderful.
I made the tailpiece from a an old quart sized paint lid and is held on with a piece of leather. The pole through the box and up the back of the neck is an old post hole digger handle. The tuners, the bridge and the neck were all made from oak.

"Great Look" that style is what building CBG's etc. should be all about.
I love it! Not many people making them like that these days. You really took pains to make it look like the "real deal." I'd be curious to hear it...
