Completed with a rosewood headstock and heel cap. My brilliant piezo plan failed - end-pin pre-amp on the way !

    Thanks, Ken.  I can't claim credit for the fretboard because that was off-the-shelf.  Everything else was hand built.  I might try fretting my own next time but the small frets are fiddly and the margin for error on a 17-inch scale is tiny.
