Here's my 'finished' version of this 2-Stringer, with corners glued in place. I decided to build a second one to test steel strings and metal frets, as I also like the mellow sound of nylon (or Aquilla Nygut).

As you can see, I used a Casa Fernandez cigar box. I had the option of using other cigra boxes, but chose this one because it was squarish in shape (not rectangluar) and I was going for the octagonal shaped soundboard. I also like this style of lid as there is a far amount of space between the top (sound board) and the seam where the box opens up. This allows me to cut off the corners, producing this raised soundboard look when I glue the corners back on.
