The larger 3-stringer includes a slotted head with 3 geared tuners, a 40cm VSL and a 12cm x 9cm x 5cm wooden box as a resonator box. The smaller 2-stringer includes 2 ukulele friction tuners, a 38 cm VSL and a small tin similar to an Altoids tin, but a bit deeper, and with prettier artwork. Both use nylon ukulele strings and neither are loud. So, they make nice portable practice dulcimers for quiet environments.

On the mini three stringer, I ran out of fret wire. I hope to locate a local source in China. If I can't, my next instrument will use cut nails for frets. Happy holidays...
