  Yes, it's an old Kapok acoustic guitar neck, and it IS a pain sanding with those frets there! I.had the neck, so I wanted to recycle it- the next one I'll make, probably a 4 string, and definitely put the fret dots in before the frets!

  They look good... are you adding the inlay to a factory made neck? I'm sure you realise this job is much easier to do before you put the frets in ;-)
