Tom Keene Relic

Some folks would not build with a battered old box like this. I am glad I did. I can not seem to quit building these CBGs. And fretless relic builds with piezos are so easy and fun to build. The box is wood with paper covering it in places. It is tuned GDg. Playability is good. Accoustic sound gets a score of 7 and plugged in gets a 7 to 7.5.Best things about the git are the old time look and the light weight. Poplar neck. Short ends of the box bolstered inside with 3/8 inch plywood. Player side sound hole - you look inside the hole and see the cbg skeleton - honoring those who came before us.
