Soup cans with a piezo disks wired to a 1/4 inch jack with "deluxe" burlap screen. Gets an old timey sound.

    Clock, luckily for me my daughter LOVES chicken noodle soup. She keeps me in good supply of cans!

    They plug into any amp. They feedback bad in a PA system. Yes, I've seen O, Brother, Where Art Thou? Back in the 20's and 30's, that's what they made microphones out of. In the late 30's the magnetic microphones started being used. My wife buys the burlap from a craft store.
