Kind of the third go around and rebuild with this one. I replaced the box top with a piece of plywood. The Dan Sleep Pickup sits atop the box due to a miscalculation on my part. My Indian name is Screws Up Plenty. The pickup looks cool to me this way, and works great. But it is vulnerable to bangs and knocks.I may replace that saddle.

I can, Robert. It plays easy -slides nice, but action low enough to do some fingering. Sounds quite good acoustic and has that warm sound plugged in from the Dan pickup. The only things is I have to use extra caution not to bang that vulnerably mounted pickup.
